We’re Going to Magaluf!

It’s that time of year again, when the days are getting colder, the nights are getting shorter, and people’s thoughts are turning to their next summer holiday. As a longstanding member of a group of party animals, I’ll be heading to Magaluf again this year.

Having done the rounds of Malia, Ayia Napa and all the other usual suspects in the past, my particular group still likes to return to the motherlode every now and then, to make sure that everything is still as it should be.

Magaluf Events Are Simply the Best

The main reason we head back to Mallorca’s premier party destination on a regular basis is due to the fact that there is just so much to see and do in this fantastic resort, and most of the entertainment is laid on for you. All you need to do is to turn up and be ready to have a good time.

Out of all the events that are held in the resort, the following three are among our favourites.

1. All-Day Booze Cruises – Spending the day on a boat getting wasted may not be everybody’s idea of fun but we have never failed to have a good time on the booze cruises we have been a part of. Ticket prices include as much alcohol as you can consume: something which always seems to help create an atmosphere of friendly mayhem that we just love.

2. Beach Parties at Full Moon – If you don’t fancy taking to the sea, you can do the next best thing and go to a full moon party right by it, on the beach. Although the monthly parties are now very much a part of the folklore of Magaluf events, full moon parties actually originated in Thailand, where they are still held, on the island of Ko Pha Ngan.

3. Clubbing Nights – A holiday in Magaluf would not be complete without a few visits to the massive clubs that dominate the nightlife scene there. If you are feeling a bit nervous about the prospect of going to one of these behemoths, a guided crawl of the local bars beforehand and special tickets to the club in question are sure to help ease your worries.

There are many other events from which to choose when staying in this part of Mallorca but the above three are always at the top of our to do list.
